Many food-allergic individuals struggle to plan safe air travel. Now is your chance to share your opinions with the Department of Transportation (DOT). The DOT is accepting comments about how airlines can best address the needs of peanut-allergic passengers. Comments are due August 9, 2010. For more information go to:

IMPORTANT.  Recently, the DOT clarified the proposed rule-making and removed the issue of peanuts and peanut allergies on planes from the original proposal. However, the DOT is continuing to accept public comments through August 9, 2010.
