The Big Quack Family Fun Event
The Food Allergy Support Group of Minnesota (FASGMN) has exclusive use of the Water Park of America for The Big Quack family fun event. The purpose of the event is two-fold: First, it provides a safe, fun activity for families with food allergies; secondly, it raises vital funds to ensure the continuance of FASGMN’s programs that serve food-allergic individuals. Every ride will be OPEN! Now’s the time to try surfing, the body slides, the family raft ride, tube slides, the wave pool or lazy river. Everyone is welcome… so invite your friends (and leave the peanuts and tree nuts at home)!
Lockers are available for a $6 rental fee (debit or credit card only). Towels will be available for use free of charge, but we recommend you bring your own.
Food and Beverage
Outside food and non-alcholic beverage are allowed to be consumed only in the upstairs “Treehouse” eating area. Please do not bring peanut/tree nut containing foods. The Water Park of America’s “Camp Many Point” food service will be open from 4:00-6:00pm with the peanut/tree nut containing foods removed. Please note that the water park is working with FASGMN to complete this task, but we cannot guarantee the safety of any food. Use your best judgment when purchasing food that others prepare and always have your life saving medicine nearby. Please consume all food/beverages in designated eating areas- Treehouse or Camp Many Point only.
One Water Park of America Waiver is required per adult. Children under 18 can be included on one parent’s waiver.
Ticket Prices and Information
Tickets include wet and/or dry passes into the Water Park of America on February 28th from 4-8pm. Ticket price is the same for a wet pass or a dry pass. All tickets are $18 for ages 1 and older. We are keeping the admission price low so it is affordable to people living with food allergies and their families and friends. Please keep in mind that this is a fundraiser for FASGMN and we rely on admission tickets to cover the rental facility cost as well as raise funds for the organization, which is a life line to many families managing food allergies.
