Next Event: FASGMN- Support Group Meeting Wed Mar 21, 2012 @07:00PM - 08:30PM
Volunteer

The Food Allergy Support Group of Minnesota needs volunteers to maintain the success of our programs and services. Opportunities are fun, food-free, and can connect you with other families living with food allergies. The time commitment varies with each project, and can often be done on your own schedule.

Our Current Needs

  • Webmaster: Make content updates on our website. Training and a slow transition time provided. No programming skills necessary.
  • Webinar host: Work with speakers to run webinar events. Training and a simple online software program are provided. Can be done from the comfort of your home.
  • Volunteer Coordinator: This is an ongoing position to help recruit volunteers for events and keep volunteer records.
  • Meeting Facilitators:  Help facilitate open discussions at future support group meetings. Great position for someone who is a good listener, has some experience managing food allergies, and has good communications skills.
  • Sponsorship Program Coordinator: Be the main contact between FASGMN and other companies participating in our new Sponsorship program. Mailing, record-keeping, and emailing required.
  •  Biq Quack planners: Help prepare for this 2012 event. All tasks are clearly outlined for all planning volunteers and can be done from home in your spare time.

Please contact us for all the details.

Take five minutes now to complete a volunteer questionnaire. Then we'll have your interests on file, and we can invite your participation when the time is right. Invite your interested relatives and friends to complete a form, too! We welcome grandparents, cousins, teens, aunts/uncles, family friends, and others to volunteer.
